Welcome to TubeCurator. By using our application, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using TubeCurator, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the application.
2. Description of Service
TubeCurator is an application designed to help users curate and focus their YouTube experience. It allows users to manage channel subscriptions, create playlists, and implement screen-time controls (Shield).
3. Third-Party Content, YouTube, and Advertising
TubeCurator utilizes the YouTube Data API. By using TubeCurator, you are also bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. TubeCurator does not own or control the content provided by YouTube.
Advertisements: TubeCurator does not circumvent, strip, alter, or block advertisements provided by YouTube. When playing YouTube videos through the app, ads may be displayed by YouTube. As a third-party developer, TubeCurator is prohibited from interfering with Google's monetization systems, and users accept that ads are a required part of the YouTube playback experience.
4. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
5. Subscriptions and Payments
- TubeCurator offers "Premium" subscriptions that unlock additional features.
- Payments are processed through the Apple App Store.
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
6. Usage Limits and Fair Use Policy
To ensure a high-quality experience for all users and to maintain compliance with third-party service providers (including the YouTube Data API), TubeCurator implements usage limits and rate limiting on certain features. These limits may apply to actions such as channel synchronization, playlist management, and search queries.
Tiered Access: Usage quotas may vary depending on your subscription status. Premium subscribers generally receive higher usage limits. Details regarding current quotas for each tier are available within the application interface.
Abuse and Stability: We reserve the right to throttle, temporarily suspend, or terminate access for any account that demonstrates patterns of excessive usage, attempts to circumvent rate limits, or otherwise threatens the stability of our services or those of our third-party partners.
7. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to use the app for any illegal purpose, or in a way that interferes with the services or servers of YouTube or Google.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
TubeCurator is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind.
9. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall Femi Aliu or its affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the app.
